Naik Jadunath Singh was born on 21 November 1916 in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
On 6 February 1948, his section repelled three attacks at Naushera. When all his men fell, he fought alone. He attained Veergati fighting to the last. His body was found surrounded by many enemy dead.
